Xianghualing Tin Industry Co., Ltd was established in August 2002, originally State-Owned Xianghualing Tin Industry. In October 2006 Xianghualing Tin Industry Co., Ltd successfully achieved strategic cooperation with Western Mining Group Co., Ltd., one of China’s Top 500 Enterprises, by transferring part of shareholding to the latter and became the latter’s subsidiary with the stake controlled by the latter.
The company mainly produces refined tin, tin concentrate, lead, zinc, white tungsten and associated silver. In 2008 it has developed a new product-----fluorite. Gradually, the company has ranked among top 50 nonferrous metals industry enterprises of Hunan province. It is also the only tin-producing enterprise in Hunan province with a whole set of exploration, mining, processing, smelting and deep processing. With an area of 25.19 square kilometers, the parent company employs more than 1,300 staff members and has a total asset at more than 220 million RMB.
