It was learned from Yongxing 2013 financial work briefing that Yongxing county’s fiscal revenue hit 2 billion yuan in 2013, accounting for 2.046 billion yuan as 100.16% of annual task, up 20.19%.

In 2013, Yongxing county fully carried out a three-year plan for industrial transformation and development. It focused on the infrastructure construction and project investment attraction to forge new increasing pole for the county economy. According to the data, 1 billion yuan has been placed on the infrastructure construction of the industrial parks which total areas were expanded to 18.5 square meters in Yongxing county; 82 smelting enterprises out of industrial parks were closed, which helped to promote the transformation and upgrading of rare metals’ recycling; 300 million yuan has been invested on the technical transformation and capacity expansion of coal mines; 24 fireworks companies have completed the transformation of mechanization; and 102 enterprises reached the third-level and above standards of safety production.

Besides the infrastructure construction, more investment attraction activities were handled out by Yongxing county to introduce more enterprises to settle in Yongxing county. Yongxing county successfully held the investment attraction promotion conferences in Guangzhou and Changsha and attended south Hunan international industrial transfer trade fair in 2013, all of those were with great achievements that over 25.76 billion yuan agreements concerned for 30 projects were signed there. Furthermore, Yongxing county paid more attention on the attraction of foreign investment. It was learned that 7 new foreign investment projects were settled in Yongxing county in 2013 with the actual use of $93.41 million, up 29%. The paid-in domestic investment was amounted to 2.65 billion yuan, up 11.9%. Foreign trade volume reached $ 279 million. 258,000 square meters of standard workshops were finished. Above -scale industrial added value was fulfilled with 14.39 billion yuan, up 13.2%.

At the mean time, Yongxing county accelerated the development of modern agricultural industrialization. With its efforts on promotion of cultivation of grain and tobacco (accounting for 0.79 million mu and 43,200 mu separately), Yongxing county was awarded as Hunan provincial“advanced county of grain cultivation” and “advance county of tobacco infrastructure construction”. More areas were development for candy orange and tea-oil as 12,000 mu and 40,000 respectively. 6 standardized farms for pig were finished. One national construction cooperative and 4 Hunan provincial demonstration cooperatives were established there. Yongxing Candy orange was successfully submitted to be one of Chinese famous brands. Furthermore, Yongxing county was enrolled in the list of national key counties of small water conservancy facilities construction and Hunan provincial top ten counties on building a moderately prosperous society.

According to the statistics, in 2013, Yongxing county’s GDP hit 2.382 billion yuan, up 11.6%; fiscal revenue and public budget revenue were amounted to 2.046 billion yuan and 1.52 billion yuan, up 20.2% and 18.1% separately; total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 5.45 billion yuan, up 13.5%; fixed assets investment was accounted for 18.71 billion yuan, up 35%; and per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents were with 15,683 yuan, up 12.9%.
