It was introduced that the first Martyrs Memorial Hall of Guiyang County was finished there. The hall would be opened on September 30, 2015- the second state public memorial ceremony day.

Guiyang Martyrs Memorial Hall is located in the northern foot of Baoling Park of Guiyang county. It covers with 26.4mu areas and 6million yuan investment. The 20.13meters high monument which is carved with the Chinese characters “人民英雄永垂不朽”(long live people’s heroes) is made of granites.

The names, main events and sacrificed time and places of 526 Guiyang county’s martyrs who sacrificed their lives to the country and society before the found of the Party, in the periods of Agrarian Revolutionary War, Anti-Japanese War, Liberation War and socialist construction are recorded in the back of the monument.

It was introduced that Guiyang county is an old red revolutionary base which is with glorious revolutionary tradition. In recent 100 years, over 700 martyrs were born in Guiyang county. Till now, 526 martyrs were verified.
