It was reported that during the first 3-day public holiday for the 70th anniversary for victory of anti-Japanese war, the red revolutionary scenic spots were hot. Many visitors were attracted to visit Chenzhou Martyr Memorial Park, Memorial Hall of Xiangnan Intifada, former site of headquarter for Hunan Yizhang Year-end Uprising, the First Military Regulations Square, and some other red scenic spots. According to the incomplete statistics, thanks for the red tourism and culture festival and the public holiday, over 3000 visitors were received by Guidong county on the day of September 3, 2015.

In the afternoon of September 3, 2015 when reporters travelled around Chenzhou Martyr Memorial Park and Memorial Hall of Xiangnan Intifada, they noticed that many visitors travelled there with their family members and friends, and some visitors stopped in front of the monument of Xiangnan Intifada to express their respects to the martyrs. On the photographic exhibition of old soldiers of anti-Japanese war, some visitors carefully read the stories of old soldiers. Mr. Tang who works in other places came back to enjoy the public holiday with his 5-year-old daughter. He and his daughter visited the Memorial Hall of Xiangnan Intifada after watching the military parade on TV. Tang said: “it is significant to spend this commemorating day of victory of anti-Japanese war. My daughter was educated by the red revolutionary. I was so proud to hear her saying that ‘there were so many heroes from my hometown’.” As introduced by the staff of the memorial hall, over 400 visitors travelled there in the afternoon which was times more than ordinary day.

Tens of family teams were visiting former site of headquarter for Hunan Yizhang Year-end Uprising and Yizhang Memorial Hall of Xiangnan Intifada when reporters arrived there. Ms. Tan who is from Nanchang city, Jiangxi province was one of the visitors there. She said: “it is must-come place during the memorial day and it is also a good chance to receive the education of patriotism and cherish the memories of martyrs.” In January, 1928, Zhu De, Chen Yi and some other old generation proletariat revolutionists executed and commanded Yizhang Year-end Uprising on the headquarter, which was the first shot for Xiangnan Intifada. This former site is one of top 100 “classic red tourism scenic spots” of China. It becomes a hot patriotism scenic spots for units and families.

“We got to know the First Military Regulations Square from Red Tourism and Culture Festival and wanted to visit there during the memorial day.”said Mr Jiang who was from Changsha city. The First Military Regulations Square is one of the key red tourism scenic spots of Hunan province. Mr. Jang visited there with 20 colleagues. In order to learn more local red histories, they hired a local tour guide. Santaishan Park, Guidong Memorial Hall of the Red Army, the starting place of Red Army’s long march, and some other red scenic spots of Guidong county attracted a large number of visitors nationwide during the holiday.
