On May 6, 2 pupils stopped to watch the mascot "Kuangwa" of the 7th CMGE.
The cute Kuangwa, mines overhead, mineral crystal and Chinese rose in hands appeared and became the focus of the 7th CMGE.
According to reports, in order to further enhance the brand influence of the CMGE, the Preparatory Committee of the CMGE last year solicited mascots for designers at home and abroad. In more than six months, more than 100 pieces of works were received. After strict selection, one of them was identified as the mascot of the Expo. Taking Chenzhou "Mineral Crystal" as the design prototype, and combined with "Mine, Mineral Crystal, Eye Mask" and other elements, the mascot holds mineral crystal and Chinese rose to welcome guests from home and abroad to Chenzhou CMGE, displaying the characteristics of "Mineral Crystal Capital".
In March this year, the Preparatory Committee of the CMGE launched the naming activities for mascots. More than 1,000 people signed up to participate and more than 120,000 new fans were added to its public number, which attracted more than 600,000 people's attention. After expert selection and online voting, the mascot of the 7th CMGE was finally named "Kuangwa".
In order to quickly disseminate the vivid, lovely and enthusiastic image of "Kuangwa", further tap the market value of the mascots of the Expo and explore the market-oriented transformation of the Expo, the Preparatory Committee of the CMGE also arranged staff to visit Foshan and other places, and contacted the mascot derivatives manufacturers to launch plush pillows, 30 cm plush dolls, 50 cm plush dolls, PVC keychains, schoolbags and emblems for the Expo. The 6 limited edition derivatives can be purchased from the first and second floor of Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
