On the afternoon of May 6, the Chenzhou Volunteer Service Federation held the 7th CMGE Volunteer Service Training Conference. More than 450 volunteer representatives took the solemn oath to contribute to the successful completion of the volunteer service tasks of the current expo.

In 2018, Chenzhou Volunteer Service Federation, as the general coordinating body of volunteer service in the whole city, organized nearly 600 volunteers from Party members, good people representatives, social volunteers, student volunteers and parent-child volunteers for the 6th CMGE to realize the beautiful image of Chenzhou as "Chenzhou Smile and Move the World".

With the slogan of "World Mining Expo, Great Love Chenzhou", the volunteer service will provide guests from more than 50 countries and regions with various volunteer services, such as protocol reception, on-site guidance, transportation, security, logistical support and so on. Lei Chunyong, President of Chenzhou Volunteer Service Federation, awarded the flag of "New Era Civilization Practice Volunteer Team" to Yin Chunmei, President of Volunteer Association of the rotating team.

Subsequently, relevant experts and scholars explained Chenzhou mineral, gemstone, mineral crystal, volunteer service etiquette, professional English knowledge, volunteer attention and other related knowledge of the Expo.

More than 450 volunteer representatives from Xiangnan University, Chenzhou Vocational Technical College, Fucheng Volunteer Association, Beihu Volunteer Association, Suxian Volunteer Federation and other groups participated in the activities. Zhou Hao, a junior at the Foreign Language Institute of Xiangnan University, participated in the CMGE for the third time this year as a volunteer. He said that he would make use of the knowledge he learned and the professional advantages of translation to better serve the Expo.
