On May 17, the 7th China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Expo (CMGE) will open in Chenzhou, Hunan Province. More than 1000 enterprises will participate in the exhibition.The Bank of China will provide all-round financial services for the event. Since the CMGE was held, the Bank of China has been the only designated financial service institution for seven consecutive years, providing all-round financial services for the CMGE.

As early as a month ago, the Chenzhou Branch of the Bank of China began to promote the implementation of the refined scheme of on-site financial services formulated for the current Expo, to clarify the division of labor and refine responsibilities. On April 26, the staff of each department began to enter the exhibition, and completed the preparatory work of network construction, network connectivity, logistics, supervision and insurance according to the schedule. They also have prepared 10 kinds of foreign currencies, such as US dollar, Euro, Australian dollar, ready for foreign exchange; reserved a large amount of change and vouchers to provide financial services to all exhibitors, tourists and citizens in an all-round way.

The Bank of China attached great importance to serving the Expo. Under the guidance of Hunan Branch, Chenzhou Branch of the Bank of China has set up a leading group headed by the president of the bank and a working group composed of all departments to actively communicate with relevant government departments, dispatching a total of 28 key employees, after training, on standby at any time during the Expo to ensure that no problems occur. Among them, the staff with good spoken foreign language, skilled business operation and good image will serve as on-site financial service personnel to meet the diversified business needs of exhibitors at home and abroad with efficient and high-quality services.
The Bank of China will adopt the financial service mode of "on-site counter + self-service + product support", build temporary outlets, open multiple counters, and carry out counter extension service, so as to make the financial service capacity of the extended counter fully consistent with the service function of the bank outlet. It will not only provide local and foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheque exchange, settlement and sale of foreign exchange and other basic foreign exchange services, but also provide a series of financial services for exhibitors, such as opening accounts, deposits and withdrawals, transfer remittances, online banking, mobile banking, cross-border RMB settlement, overseas business, international settlement, etc.
For many years, the Bank of China, rooted in Chenzhou, has made full use of the good foundation of serving the local economic development and opening up, devoted itself to serving the import and export enterprises to "go out" and provide them with efficient, fast and convenient cross-border financial services. After the Expo, the Bank of China will make full use of online and offline products to realize the interconnection of transactions and the transformation of achievement.
