On January 8, the 8th CMGE summary meeting and CMGE Cloud construction and operation scheduling meeting were held. Zhou Hailin, Vice Mayor of Chenzhou City, presided over the meeting.

In order to overcome the impact of the new epidemic situation, our city carried out market-oriented transformation and development of CMGE for the first time, changed the traditional single offline exhibition mode, and took the form of "Online + Offline" two-way parallel, integration and interaction. Offline activities included Chenzhou Mineral Gem Street Exhibition, Mining History and Culture Forum, and online activities were supported by the newly built "CMGE Cloud" service platform.

There are 20 VR panoramic special booths and 500 standard booths in the "CMGE Cloud". Among them, 329 businesses are registered, 216 businesses publish goods with 2976 goods. The total number of visits to the platform reached 6.55 million times. The launch of CMGE Cloud broke through the limitation of time and space. Taking the CMGE as the media, the CMGE will be a new platform for all walks of life to understand, publicize and invest in Chenzhou, and the CMGE will be built into a mineral gem expo with distinctive characteristics.

It was pointed out at the meeting that the 9th CMGE will continue to deepen the market-oriented transformation of the CMGE. In accordance with the exhibition mechanism of "government led, market main body and enterprise operation", around the goal of building a never ending mining expo, we will improve the holding form of combining online and offline, and explore a new mode of intelligent exhibition. At the same time, we should speed up the establishment of the implementation team of the 9th CMGE. First, we should set up an investment promotion team to closely contact domestic and foreign merchants to carry out investment promotion and exhibition work. Second, we should set up a planning team to deepen the docking and cooperation with China Mining Federation, and plan the opening, forum and theme publicity activities of the 9th CMGE, so as to continuously improve the brand influence, market competitiveness and industrial driving force of the CMGE.

The meeting demanded that we should firmly establish the sense of ownership, actively strengthen planning on the basis of summing up the existing experience, firmly grasp the opportunity, pay attention to pragmatism and efficiency, constantly explore and innovate, and make every effort to run the Expo, build the CMGE Cloud, and promote the construction of the trading center. The meeting pointed out that more accurate and effective measures should be taken in market operation, brand marketing, industrial integration and other aspects to promote the development of mineral and gem industry, so as to promote the development of Chenzhou; the CMGE has been included in the scope of institutional innovation in Chenzhou Area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and relevant departments at all levels should strengthen guidance and support, actively and effectively make use of the policy advantages of the free trade zone, and explore ways to promote the development of Chenzhou, provide support for Chenzhou City to build mining industry highland, silicon crystal resource depression and mineral gem trading distribution center.
