It was reported that the launching ceremony of “trans-Hunan province trip of overseas association”& “gathering of oversea strength for Hunan province trip”to Chenzhou city was launched on November 27, 2013. According the routine schedule, this kind of trip would be kept in one city for one year, but this time it will be last for three years in Chenzhou city to assist its further development. Sheng Maolin- Deputy Governor of Hunan Province attended the launching ceremony and announced the opening of this activity. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Tan Ping- Administrative Vice Minister of Hunan Provincial United Front Work Department attended the ceremony and delivered speeches there as well.

It was introduced that “trans-Hunan province trip of overseas association” was launched in 2007 by Hunan Provincial Overseas Association. During these 7 years, more than 2000 overseas people were invited to visit Hunan province to check the development of Wuling mountain area, demonstration area of south Hunan undertaking industrial transfer, etc. More than 110 projects with over 72 billion yuan funds were promoted to be settled down in Hunan province and over 66 million yuan was donated by the overseas investors, which greatly helped to upgrade the social and economic development of Hunan province. With years development, this kind of activity became an important carrier for Hunan province further opening up and investment attraction.

It was introduced that this trip to Chenzhou city would be last for three years, focusing on the service of Chenzhou city and follow-up of some key projects.

On behalf of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government, Sheng expressed warmly greetings to all the guests, and pointed out that it was a good chance for further communication on the basis of the establishment of open economic system and expansion of inland opening up listed on third session of 18th National Congress of CPC. It is a crucial stage for the acceleration of transformation development of Hunan province, all overseas investors are warmly welcome to Hunan province to contribute their forces on the further improvement of Hunan province. At the meantime, more favorable environment condition and better service would be further granted for this platform by Hunan province.
