It was reported that investment condition introduction & key project promotion conference for national demonstration area of South Hunan undertaking industrial transfer was held in the morning of November 28, 2013 in Chenzhou city. 20 projects released by Chenzhou city were signed the agreements with relative investors.

It was surprised to find that nine of the 20 projects as Beihu district’s digital smart technology industry center, Yongxing couty’s Hunan Changlu villa tourism resort (first phase), etc. were tertiary projects, covering around 50% of them, while industrial projects were just seven ones.

Associate Professor of Chenzhou Municipal Party School- Liu Guiwen stated that it indicated a new development stage is coming for Chenzhou city and it was a signal for the take-off of Chenzhou city’s tertiary industry as well.

Liu also said all investors would choose the projects with best return and prospect. This time, tertiary projects issued by Chenzhou city were well accepted by the investors indicated that the tertiary industry of Chenzhou city was with some fundamental conditions for its “take-off”.

Liu considered that in recent years, followed with the development of some key projects on city, transportation and industry construction, Chenzhou city’s first and second industry especial second industry were with great improvement. Along with their development, the tertiary industry would be promoted accordingly to meet their further demand. The tertiary industry’s development was on the basis of the first and second industry. Taking the active demand of industrial enterprises’transportation for example, it would help to promote the logistic industry’s development, said by Liu Guiwen.

In addition, much more attention was placed on city construction, tourism industry, leisure agriculture, financial construction, etc. by Chenzhou city in recent years with great achievements. It was expected to see that the tertiary industry of Chenzhou city would be upgraded better in near future.

The common point for the projects signed on site was “green”, nine modern service industry projects as tourism, commerce and trade, scientific research, logistic, etc.; seven industrial projects as LED industry chain manufacturing, automobile accessory manufacturing, etc.; and rest four energy and city infrastructure and agricultural industrialization projects were friendly to environment.

“It shows the determination of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government to keep the construction of ‘two-oriented society’and promote industrial transformation.”said Liu Guiwen. To highlight the green industrial projects and modern service projects also helped to show Chenzhou city’s status that Chenzhou city would never sacrifice the environment for rapid development.
