It was required by Qu Hai on his investigation trip to the project of Xihe river ecological leisure belt

It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City investigated the project of Xihe river ecological leisure belt on April 28, 2014. Qu required that more attention should be placed to highlight the concept of green and ecology to forge the project to be a new remarkable project of overall development of urban and rural areas and new rural construction.

According to the new plan of this project, it covers over 140kms area along Guiyang county, Beihu district, Suxian district and Yongxing county. Xishui village and Sanhe village were not only two demonstration areas for new rural construction of this project, but also two joint points of the belt.

Qu visited Xishui village in Guiyang county and Sanhe village in Beihu district to check the construction details of the belt. He pointed out that this belt was a key grip for Chenzhou city’s overall development of urban and rural areas and promotion of new rural construction, beautiful villages construction and ecological civilization construction. More scientific plan should be figured out to build the belt to be more beautiful as a necklace of Xishui river. More attention should be placed on the boutique project construction, especially the key joint points of the belt. Concerned for Sanhe village, it should be upgraded as the demonstration project of Chenzhou city’s beautiful village, historical culture village and modern agriculture.

A scheduling conference was held after the on-site investigation. Qu emphasized that all construction work should be followed with the high level planning with highlights on mountain, water, village, forest and industry. More attention should be place on the retreatment of environmental condition of the village with more regulated housing construction. More efforts should be tried to protect the environment with more strict measures to prohibit the behaviors which would destroy the green environment. More attention should be placed on inheriting historic culture, such as to protect the ancient dwellings, buildings, plants, and etc. with better propaganda and protection measures. Characteristic industries should be developed to improve the capacity of cooperative economy. Better construction should be handled out on grassroots Party Committee to guide more people join in the new rural construction with positive attitudes.
