The development and Reform Commission has attached great importance to the construction of Chenzhou leisure and health base. Chenzhou City has a number of tourism resources, such as Dongjiang River, Feitian Mountain, Changlu, Mangshan Mountain and Wangxianling. It is of great significance to accelerate the development of leisure tourism and promote the integration of primary, secondary and tertiary industries in rural areas, so as to promote the local economic and social development. It was suggested that Chenzhou City, based on the advantages of local resources and in combination with relevant national planning and financial support channels, actively promote the construction of leisure and health base in the GBA, better play the role of market mechanism, attract industrial and commercial capital to invest in the construction of leisure and health base, and guide industrial and commercial capital to establish a close interest connection mechanism with farmers, so as to better drive farmers' income.

In 2017, the Health and Family Planning Commission, together with the Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Tourism Administration and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Bureau issued the guidance on promoting the development of healthy tourism, which proposed "developing and enriching healthy tourism products". Relying on the natural, cultural, ecological, regional and other characteristic resources and important tourism destinations, taking medical institutions, health management institutions, rehabilitation nursing institutions and leisure and recuperation institutions as carriers, our city will focus on the development of high-end medical, characteristic specialty, traditional Chinese medicine health care, rehabilitation and recuperation, medical and recuperation integration and other series of products, so as to build a health tourism industry chain, and put forward a clear proposal for the organization and implementation requirement. Next, the Health Committee will actively support and guide Chenzhou City to do a good job in health care according to its own characteristics. It was suggested that Chenzhou City would effectively implement the requirements of the guiding opinions, rely on tourism and health care resources, combine leisure and vacation with health care and self-cultivation, expand the health care service mode, and build residential health care, environmental health care, cultural health care, tonic health care, food health care, beauty health care, sports health care, ecological health care, anti-aging services, health care for the elderly and other tourism products based on the characteristics of different people's needs.
