On January 18, Yi Pengfei, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, presided over a scheduling meeting on the progress of Shazhou planning. Yi Pengfei stressed that the construction and development of the Shazhou region should not only give full play to its subjective initiative, but also actively strive for the support of the central and provincial governments, pay close attention to the planning, construction and development, and build the Shazhou region into a "Red Classic of Hunan and even the whole country".

At the meeting, participants listened to the reports on the planning of Hunan (Shazhou) red culture and tourism characteristic industrial park, the progress of Shazhou planning and the construction of Shazhou.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that the construction and development of Shazhou region must focus on the planning of Shazhou red culture and tourism characteristic industrial park. We should not only give full play to our subjective initiative, but also actively strive for the support of the central and provincial governments. At present, we should find everything fresh and new to the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, and carefully extract the essence of the regional planning of Shazhou, and combine with the development of Rucheng in 14th Five-Year, so that we can make people feel fresh and refreshing. Rucheng County should focus on how to build the Shangzhou into a classic, brainstorm, further clarify the development direction, positioning and objectives, focus on stabilizing the first industry, strengthening the second industry and developing the third industry, and make a good plan for realizing the people's income increase, rural revitalization and poverty alleviation. Through the report, we should strive for the high attention of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, and give strong support to the planning and construction of Hunan (Shazhou) red culture and tourism characteristic industrial park.

Yi Pengfei stressed that we should attach great importance to the expert review of the plan and invite experts with high professional level, familiar with the situation and wide knowledge to widely solicit opinions. We should attach great importance to the provincial evaluation process, carefully listen to experts' opinions, further make the planning more solid and accurate, and strive for the guidance and support of relevant departments directly under the provincial government, so as to lay a good foundation for winning the support of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government. In order to achieve the integration of cultural tourism, agricultural tourism and business tourism, it is necessary to make full use of the advantages and characteristics of agricultural industry, develop experiential agricultural tourism industry, and realize the organic integration of the original red, green and ancient colors on the basis of protection; to enhance the awareness of planning guidance and control, strengthen the rigid constraints of planning, standardize the villagers' housing construction, strictly control the standard and scale, and ensure the orderly, effective and sustainable development of Shazhou region.

Yi Pengfei stressed that the plan should focus on 2035, focus on the planning and development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and strive to form a good situation at the foundation stage. The whole city must go all out to do a good job in the construction and development of the red cultural and tourism industrial park, and make the Shazhou region a "Red Classics" of Hunan and even the whole country.
