On January 20, Chenzhou City organized an expert review meeting on Shazhou regional development planning. Xu Yanbo, deputy leader and second level inspector of Chenzhou Shazhou regional planning and development leading group, presided over the meeting. Four well-known experts at home and abroad, more than 10 leaders (experts) of relevant departments directly under the provincial government, 20 heads of units directly under the municipal government and relevant heads of Rucheng County attended the meeting. 

He Jianxiang, member of the Standing Committee of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. She said that in order to conscientiously implement the spirit and to observe the important speech of Chenzhou, we should seize the historic opportunity to realize the new round development of the Shazhou area. The Chenzhou municipal Party committee and the municipal government set up the Chenzhou regional planning and development leading group and the special work class. Yi Pengfei, Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, and Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, visited Shazhou Village for many times to investigate and dispatch the planning work, and made clear the requirements for the preparation of "Shazhou regional development plan".

In the process of planning preparation, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government have held many meetings of the leading group for the planning and development of Shazhou region, listened to the work reports of the special class, organized various departments at all levels to hold special seminars, seriously absorbed the constructive opinions and valuable suggestions put forward by various departments, and laid a solid foundation for the development planning of Shazhou region. The purpose of the meeting was to better strengthen the planning guidance, draw a good development blueprint, and further implement the spirit of the general secretary's important speech on inspecting Hunan and Chenzhou.

At the meeting, Chenzhou Planning and Design Institute made a report on "development planning of Shazhou region (2021-2035)" (review draft) to the experts. The expert group carefully reviewed the planning text submitted by the municipal planning and Design Institute, issued practical and innovative opinions and suggestions one by one, and passed the plan in principle. The expert group believed that the planning resources investigation and analysis are detailed, the planning content is rich and comprehensive, the target positioning, industrial layout, land use, regional joint linkage, landscape resource protection and other elements are complete, and the technical route is basically correct, which can effectively guide the development and construction of Shazhou region.

Xu Yanbo said that the pertinent opinions of the experts attending the meeting are of great significance for guidance, reference and inspiration to the improvement of the plan. In the next step, Chenzhou City will organize the planning units to seriously study and absorb the valuable opinions and suggestions put forward by everyone, and strive to build a red classic of Hunan and even the whole country.
