Lights on fishing boats of small Dongjiang river

The small Dongjiang river is 12kms long, which is a scenic spot formed by the cascade development of Dongjiang Dam. The clear water of small Dongjiang river well meets the standards of national first grade drinking water. Every April to October, at dawn or dusk, the small Dongjiang is under an obscure atmosphere which is called as foggy small Dongjiang river- an extraordinary sight of China.

Sightseeing track

In recent years, many photographers visited small Dongjiang river and created some excellent works which were awarded with prizes in some top level photography contests. In order to grant the visitors and the photographers with better sightseeing condition, a 4kms long sightseeing path was being constructed in the west bank of the river and a 10kms long path with fitness track, leisure track, cycling track and mini-train track was being constructed in the east bank. The best time for sightseeing of foggy small Dongjiang is every 6:30-8:30am and 5:30-7:30pm from May to October.
