Yangtian Lake, a freshwater lake formed by a glacial extinct volcano in the Quaternary Period, is 30 km away from Chenzhou City. Known as "Inner Mongolia in the south of Yantgze River", it is abundant with splendid natural grazing grounds azalea spreading for more than 5 km with horses and sheep embellished. On a stone mountain of 1277 m above sea level there is a completely natural 300 m high hill shaped like a men's head resting against the mountain. The mysterious scenery has attracted numerous tourists.
