It was required by Qu Hai concerned about implementing spirits of Hunan provincial conference and handling next CMGS

It was reported that a special conference about implementing the spirits of Hunan Government’s summarizing conference of 4th CMGS was held in Chenzhou city on July 8, 2016. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City emphasized that the spirits of the conference should be well studied and all departments should try best to create international exhibition brand and improve exhibition economy orientated from the problems.

The spirit of the summarizing conference was conveyed there. As stated on the summarizing conference that the CMGS should be carried out on the basis of international standards and be improved to further expand the scales of international exhibitors with top level services; the CMGS should be carried out more professional by providing better exhibition arrangement services and introducing more professional talents and buyers; the CMGS should be carried out more elaborately by upgrading the hardware devices and improving refined management; the chance of fixing the CMGS at Chenzhou city should be well seized to popularize the fame of Chenzhou city; and the features of Chenzhou should be well comprehended to cultivate exhibition economy.

Qu Hai stated that the better services as investment attraction, propaganda, mechanism innovation, security, reception, and etc. were provided on 4th CMGS compared with last show. Chenzhou exhibition industry and relative industries were improved effectively via the two shows. The sound foundations should be well played along with seizing the chance, improving top-level designs, figuring orientation, and enhancing planning and guidance to improve exhibition economy as the pillar industry of Chenzhou city and improve Chenzhou city to be a famous international exhibition city.

Qu Hai pointed out that the supporting facilities should be improved as well. Top-level designs of Chenzhou International Exhibition and Convention Center and surrounded areas should be improved, especially the problems on customs, inspection, supporting facilities, selection of mineral & gem trading center, and etc. The cooperation among international and domestic exhibitions should be strengthened by keeping closer cooperation with some international famous shows, as well as learning advance experiences from domestic famous brand shows.

Qu Hai stated that the business type of exhibition should be expanded to promote the integrated development of industries. Crystal mineral should be improved as the main business type, and then expanded to precious jades, decoration stones, and etc.; “exhibition+” should be well improved to integrate exhibition together with tourism, logistics, catering, culture, and other industries; gem industry should be expanded by accelerating the cooperation with Amer Group and settling the investment projects sooner; and more favorable policies should be issued to perfect the system and mechanism of development exhibition economy. Furthermore, special exhibition department should be set up to introduce and cultivate more professional exhibition talents and study central and Hunan provincial government’s relative policies.

Qu Hai required that the preparation work of 5th CMGS should be accelerated and upgraded based on the experiences of 4th CMGS and preliminary checking and approval work should be improved to ensure that the working solution of 5th CMGS to be figured out sooner. International investment attraction should be intensified to expand the market of South Eastern Asia and Eastern Europe. The international and professional level of 5th CMGS should be further upgraded, especially on organization, innovation, informatization, marketization, and etc.
