As you can see from above image, some tea farmers wearing their Yao minority’s traditional clothes to pick the tea leaves before Qingming Festival in the tea farm of Xiangyang Yao minority village of Liangtian town, Suxian district.

It was introduced that the village is located in Wugai Mountain which is the southeastern part of Suxian district. It is one of the municipal level poverty stricken minority village of Chenzhou city. In recent years, it adopted the mode of “company+ base+ farmer+ cooperative” on the basis of its practical condition and introduced Chenzhou Yaoshan Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. to promote the development of tea industry and handle accurate poverty alleviation there. 700mu tea farms were reconstructed by mountain forest land transfer and 3000mu more plantation areas were available there, from which the Yao minority people can be benefited with 70,000yuan/year by land transfer and the tea farmers can gain over one million yuan net income/year.
