The badminton game of department group of the first Chenzhou Games was held in Chenzhou Five Consecutive Championships Sports Center on September 16, 2015. After some intense competitions, Chenzhou Military Subarea beat Chenzhou Land and Resources Bureau and won the champion.

The badminton game for the first Chenzhou Games were divided into three groups as county & district group, departments group and enterprises group. 5-person mixed, men’s singles and women’s singles were set for the departments group. 3 out of 2 system was carried out for the mixed team competition and the sequence is men’s doubles, mixed doubles and men’s singles.

Jiang Pingfeng and Wang Li were the main seeds of Chenzhou Military Subarea in the finals of the team competition. The two players cooperated well with each other on the match. The 24-year-old Jiang Pingfeng said to the reporters that he was excited to attend the game and hired a coach to guide the training. He said the competition can develop the brave spirit of soldiers and also enjoy the funs of fitness and entertainment.

“It is really a wonderful game. The players of Chenzhou Military Subarea are with good skills and react rapidly.”said Peng Le who is a fan of badminton after watching the final. He also said it was significant to hold such kind of activities to mobilize people’s passion on sports. He wanted to have a try on watching the game.
