Zhang Fuguang

Zhang Fuguang, male, born in January 1957, Han nationality, with a bachelor's degree and a member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently Vice Chairman of Hunan Dramatists Association, Director of Hunan Peking Opera Art Protection and Heritage Center, a national first-class actor, who is a special allowance granted by the State Council and a representative of Chinese young and middle-aged writers and artists, the 8th and 9th CPPCC member of Hunan Province and the leader of Hunan Kunqu Opera.

 

Experts commented that the characters he portrayed had different charms, distinct personality, harmonious and natural use of true and false voices, making the aria mellow and melodious. Wang Shiyu, President of Zhejiang Jingkun Academy of Art and a famous performing artist, said: "Zhang Fuguang is a talented person in the Kunqu Opera circle aged between 20 and 50 to carry on the past and the future."

 

He also went to Hong Kong, Taiwan and other places to give performances and lectures. The performances of "Missing Fog up the House", "Meet Mother" and "Collecting Firewood" were made into movies, TV and VCD broadcasts at home and abroad. More and more audiences at home and abroad have known the Hunan Kunqu Opera.

 

Zhang Fuguang, a refined and meaningful actor, performed calmly and steadily. His representative plays include "The Purple Hairpin", "The Story of the White Rabbit", "Chasing Fish", "Suxianling Legend", "One-day Prefecture", "Missing Fog up the House" and so on. Among them, "One-day Prefecture" was also made into Kunqu Opera art film "The Mad Scholar" by the Central News Records Film Studio in 1987.

 

Awards:

In 1982, he won the "Second Class Performance Award" (first prize vacancy) in the second Hunan drama season; he was awarded the Hunan Provincial Excellent Young Actor in 1984 and the "Hibiscus Award" in 1991; he won the 12th National Drama Plum Blossom Award, the 1st Kunqu Opera Arts Festival "Excellent Performance Award" and the 7th China Drama Festival "Excellent Performance Award" in 1995.
