Hengyang Merchants Chamber of Chenzhou City has been established for 8 years. In order to pay back for the society, it contributed greatly to the poverty alleviation. Following are the good deeds handled out by the chamber:

1. In 2008, Hengyang Merchants Chamber of Chenzhou City was just established when Chenzhou city was suffered from the ice disaster. The chamber joined in the aid action to help the travelers who were blocked in Jinggang’ao expressway and donated 40,000yuan, which were highly appraised by the leaders of Chenzhou city.

2. Wenchuan earthquake occurred on May 20, 2008. Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government advocated all people to donating for the victims. Though some members had donated several times in different donations, 136 members of the chamber still donated 50,588yuan on site.

3. On July 3, 2009, a donation was held by the chamber to collect funds for the 19-year old girl- Yang Lingling who was suffered from leukemia. It collected more than 66,395yuan on site.

4. The chamber donated 20,000yuan to Chenzhou Education Funds as the as the edu-aid funds for poverty stricken students.

5. On the event of “daily charity donation”, one million yuan was donated by the chamber in 2011to Chenzhou Charity Federation. Chen Shuliang- Director of Guiyang Yinxing Non-ferrous Casting Co., Ltd., Chen Wuxi- Director of Chenzhou Wujiang Steel Trade Co., Ltd., and Xie Zhisong who was from Songyi Materials Trade Co., Ltd. donated 100,000yuan respectively. 

6. The chamber donated 30,000yuan to Chenzhou Federation of Industry and Commerce in 2011.

7. 560,000yuan donations were collected from the members of the chamber to serve for public programs of Chenzhou city in 2013.

8. In the night of March 8, 2014, on learning one of the members of chamber- Liu Xiaohu was suffered from lymphoma, the members of Women Workers’ Committee of the chamber held a donation on the site of the party for celebrating the Women’s Day and collected 8320yuan.

9. On August 23, 2014, on the edu-aid program which was operated by life channel of Hunan TV, Chen Shuliang- Chairman of the Chamber organized more than 30 entrepreneurs to attend the program and donated 96,300yuan to the poverty stricken students.

10. In July 2015, on the donation for serious illness which was held by Chenzhou Charity Federation, Chen Shuliang- Chairman of the Chamber and more 20 leaders of the chamber donated more than 470,000yuan on site. Chairman Chen donated 100,000yuan.

11. Some public programs which were led by Chairman Chen Shuliang of the chamber: in 2007, it donated 50,000yuan to poverty stricken students; in 2007, 100,000yuan for Dongfeng Primary School; in 2008, 200,000yuan and 30,000yuan for highways projects of Fuyang village and infrastructure of Zilong village; in 2008, 100,000yuan for Wenchuan earthquake; in 2009, 50,000yuan for environmental protection; in 2010, 20,000yuan for the schools of Fuyang village; in 2012, 30,000yuan for charity party held by environmental protection department of Chenzhou city.

12. Gan Zhaohe- First Deputy Chairman of the chamber dedicated his charity to country fellows. He donated great amount money to the construction of highways and schools of his homeland, helping poverty-stricken students, and supporting the development of health care and education. He considered all the charities to be necessities to pay back for society. According to the statistics of some departments, Gan has donated more than 1.66million yuan to the society.

13. Li Chunsheng- First Deputy Chairman of the chamber donated over 1million yuan to his home town to build three highways.

14. Yang Wensheng- First Deputy Chairman of the chamber donated dozens of hundred thousand yuan to public programs.

15. Yin Bin-First Deputy Chairman of the chamber who operates Meilinianhua Food Co., Ltd. devoted to charity as well. In 2011, he donated 500,000yuan to Chenzhou Charity Federation and 800,000yuan to the expansion of Chenzhou 4th Middle School which is being kept subsidized by the company. In July 2012, he donated 10,000yuan to Beihu Education Funds as the subsidies for helping poverty stricken students. In 2013, he donated more than 100,000yuan to different charity activities. According to the statistic, he has donated over 8million yuan to the public programs.
