“Welcome Chenzhou merchant to join in the e-commerce!” It was learned from the special promotion conference of Chenzhou E-commerce entitled with “city in the Link, share city” in the 1st Chenzhou Merchants Conference that currently there are over 0.1million people of Chenzhou city involve into the e-commerce businesses, and it will try to establish “national demonstration city of e-commerce”.

It was a fresh experience for the merchants who attended the special promotion conference of e-commerce. “Link” pronounces like Chinese character “林 (Lin)” and “Share” pronounces like Chinese character “享(Xiang)”, which well integrates Chenzhou city’s establishment of “city in the forest, share city”. It was learned from the conference, the e-commerce of Chenzhou city was being promoted rapidly under the concept of “internet+”.

According to the statistics, there are over 600 “e-commerce enterprises” available in Chenzhou city. Over 20,000 enterprises and private businessmen involve into the e-commerce businesses. So over 0.1million people of Chenzhou city were in the e-commerce. In 2015, the total volume of e-commerce was amounted to 11billion yuan, 6.2billion of which were for B2B and 4.8billion of which were for on-line retail, ranking the 3rd place of Hunan province. Now, three plates of small and medium-sized practical e-commerce have been shaped in the central urban area of Chenzhou city and four modern rural e-commerce circles area available in the city as well.

It was stated on the conference, in 2020, Chenzhou would try to reach 30% annual increasing rate; build full practical system of e-commerce; and establish to be “national demonstration of e-commerce”. It would improve sound e-commerce industry condition; set up three plates of cross-border, rural, and urban e-commerce; and shape the “system of one core, two axes, and multiple supports” – central urban e-commerce core, great cross county e-commerce axes, and counties e-commerce supports.
