It was reported that 1st Guiyang Merchants Conference was held in Guiyang county on March 29, 2016. Guiyang county signed the framework agreement for Dongguan (Guiyang) Industrial Park with Guiyang Chamber of Commerce of Dongguan City and Dongguan Textile and Garment Association on that day, covering 10billion yuan contracted amount. At the meantime, four companies from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Dongguan city signed four agreements with Guiyang county. All the five projects covered with 13.24billion yuan contracted amount. More than 80 merchants who are Guiyang native from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Shenzhen, Changsha, and etc. and some officials of Guiyang chambers of commerce in other places attended the conference.

From the beginning of 2016, Guiyang tried great efforts on implementing the action of “year of breakthrough on investment attraction”. It listed 25 key investment attraction projects concerned for industry, modern agriculture, infrastructure, modern service industry, and cultural tourism. The county kept investment attraction as the first strategy for accelerating economic development and dispatched some main leaders of the county to handled investment attraction promotion activities in Dongguan, Shenzhen, Zhejiang, and other places. With their efforts, some projects have been settled down and launched in the county.

Guiyang county also paid great attention on the driving role of companies. It played the best advantages of Guiyang chamber of commerce in other places to carry out the activity of “welcoming county fellows to improve the home town”. Some Guiyang chambers of commerce in Dongguan, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and etc. were established with the county’s help. The county fellows there were encouraged to place investments on the county. It also enhanced the communication with some chambers and associations as Jiangmen (Hunan) Chamber of Commerce, Zhuhai (Chenzhou) Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai (Chenzhou) Chamber of Commerce, and etc. to expand the investment attraction. Furthermore, some investors and entrepreneurs who settled their businesses in Guiyang county were hired as investment agents, which was purposely to attract more investments with the agents’ relations. Dongguan Ruixin Electronics and other companies were introduced by them to settle their businesses down in Guiyang county.
