Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City required on the scheduling conference for preparation of 4th CMGS that all relative departments should keep improving ready work and handle the show successfully with high quality.

Currently, the preparation work for the show has been stepped into the sprint period. The stands have almost been booked out. All other work was being promoted rapidly.

Qu Hai stated that due to the great expectation of Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government, the show was fixed in Chenzhou permanently. All departments should play the best advantages of this platform to promote the opening up and upgrading of Chenzhou city. The show should be improved as an important grasp for further improvement of Chenzhou exhibition economy, gem industry and relative industries, and supporting services. The show should be handled out professionally with high quality and unique features, upgraded to be an international exhibition comparable with Tucson Show of the United States, and improved to be a powerful support for Chenzhou city’s improvement of being a new increasing pole of Hunan province.

Qu stated that all the preparation work of the show is being carried smoothly and effectively. There is just one month left till the opening of the show, all departments should work together, especially on key work. The investment attraction work should be kept promoted on the consideration of improving economic effects of exhibition; more attention should be placed on propaganda to popularize the show and Chenzhou city; communication of the forum should be highlighted to obtain more guidance and supports on invitation of foreign guests; infrastructure construction work such as mineral gem street and sub-halls of the show should be accelerated; security and reception work should be well handled to grant the show with safe and warm condition; and services on custom clearance, inspection and quarantine, foreign exchange settlement, and etc. should be highlighted as well.

Qu Hai emphasized that planning work should be well handled with highlights. The trade should be operated orderly with sound credit that the exhibits should be real and authoritative assessment of exhibits should be well organized to attract more treasures. Investment attraction, decoration of stands, and some other characteristic events should be well organized as well. The chance of handling the show should well seized to upgrade its effects on different fields, such as promotion of projects construction , upgrading of supporting services, popularization of Chenzhou tourism, deepening international cooperation, enhancement of investment attraction, improvement of city management, and etc. All departments should perform their duties actively to finish all preparation work before this May 1.
