Qu Hai – Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City required on the scheduling conference for 4th mineral show which was held in the afternoon of March 22, 2016 that all departments should try best to hold the mineral show successfully and improve it to be new increasing pole of Chenzhou city.

Currently, the preparation work of mineral show as propaganda, organization of activities, invitation of guests, and etc. are being carried out fluently. More than 80 clients from 30 countries as the United States, Canada, and etc. booked over 400 stands, 800 stands were booked by domestic merchants, and 200 stands were booked by HK, Macau, and Taiwan merchants.

Qu Hai required that the preparation work should be handled out more sufficiently on consideration of more details to ensure it to be handled out better than last one. The propaganda work should be carried out well by holding sound press conference and handling propaganda before the show. More attention should be paid to investment attraction, especially to attract larger exhibitors, more precious collections, and better audience and buyers. Sound platform for the gems’ display, verification, and assessment should be established to promote the communication between collectors and collections. The invitation work should be paid closer attention as well, so that attracts major merchants, guests, and media to attend the show and famous experts and scholars to participate in the peak forum and studies of themes for the show and forum, which is purposely to upgrade the international influence of the show. The working level of organization, security, rear services, and etc. should be upgraded as well to grant the show with safe order. Some industrial projects should be settled, launched, or finished by promoting the show. Urban management and environment should be optimized. Custom clearance, logistics, foreign exchange, and other works’ efficiency should be improved. Special attention should be paid to the quality control to block fake products from the show. Exhibition halls of the show should be upgraded and the construction of international minerals street should be accelerated too.

Qu Hai emphasized that the mineral should be handled out with high level and improved to be new increasing pole of Chenzhou city. The key reason why Hunan Provincial Party Committee and Hunan Government confirmed Chenzhou city to be the fixed city of the show was to promote the development of Chenzhou city and improve Chenzhou city to be new increasing pole of Hunan province. Assisted with handling the mineral show, all departments should promote innovative development, cultivating new types of businesses and new increasing points, and improving scientific research cooperation and innovation of technology and management; should promote the integrated development of industry, promoting the integration of exhibition industry with tourism, culture, industry, and sports; should promote opening up, upgrading the opening level and internationalization level of Chenzhou city and broader the ideas and scopes of development; should promote the upgrading of Chenzhou image and popularity, expanding Chenzhou city’s external influence; and should promote the marketable cooperation, cultivating industrial association and market entities, enhancing the interactive cooperation between Chenzhou government and enterprises, handling the show by the means of market and legislation, and improving international and market operation of the show. All the preparation work should be handled out efficiently and accurately. More achievements should be reached on urban management, environmental treatment, and etc. by handling “three establishments”.
