According to the time schedule, Chenzhou Jiahe stop of 2014 5th Trans-China International Highway Cycling would be started on September 9, 2014. Li Ting- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City hosted a security working conference to study and arrange the security work for this cycling.

It was introduced that Chenzhou Jiahe stop is about 140.5kms long from Chenzhou Sports Center, via Chenyong Avenue, Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Park, Chenzhou Avenue and Guijia road, and then ends at Jiahe Jiulaofeng landscape. On the conference, all relative departments delivered their security working reports and discussed how to solve the problems. Li Ting stated that all units should follow the specified responsibility system to work together and ensure the cycling to be carried out safely and harmoniously.

The attendants drove along the cycling routes to investigate the work on site. Li stopped the car on some important sections to learn more details of the security work and helped to solve some problems on site.
