It was learned from the scheduling conference for first Hunan mass dragon race work of Zixing division that the first Hunan mass dragon race would be held during the Dragon Boat Festival with the theme of “our festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Quyuan cup”. Zixing city would be as one of the divisions to hold the 500-meter straightway racing in Zixing Aquatic Sports Center on May 31, 2014.

According to the time schedule, the preliminary matches would be held in four divisions as Zixing of Chenzhou city, Wangcheng of Changsha city, Miluo of Yueyang city and Yuanling of Huaihua city. 15 teams from Chenzhou, Hengyang and Yongzhou city would attend the competitions in Zixing division. The top three winners can be qualified to enter the finals. Hunan City Channel would take live broadcast for the competitions of every division. The finals would be held from June 12-15, 2014 in Juzizhou, Changsha city.

Zhou Mengxia- Deputy Director of Hunan Civilization Office led an investigation team to visit Zixing Aquatic Sports Center and check its preparation work for the race carefully.
