Over 1000 exhibitors from 50 countries and regions of the world attended the 3rd China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show in Chenzhou city. More than one hundred thousand pieces of treasures as animal heads of the Old Summer Palace, the longest native gold of the world, rhodochrosite “empress of China”, and etc., are being exhibited on the mineral show.

The longest native gold of the world-“thunderbolt”

America Arkenstone- one of the top mineral collectors of the world exhibits its collection- the longest native gold of the world “thunderbolt” in the mineral show, which is the first show of the native gold. It was introduced that “thunderbolt” is 80cms long, 6cms wide and weighed 3.6kgs. Its golden body looks like a carved dancer.

Rhodochrosite “empress of China” which was brought by Peng Zhaoyuan- the Curator of Jiangsu Research Center of Mineral Culture is one of most attractive treasures in the mineral show. It is shaped as a red rose. It was introduced that it was discovered together with “emperor of China” in Cangwu county of Guangxi province in 2009. The two treasures are with the biggest size, biggest monocrystal and top quality among all other discovered rhodochrosite, which shocked the world in 2011 America Tucson Mineral & Gem Show.
