Xihe River which is about 136kms long is sourced from the Lutang Town of Beihu District and Yangtian Lake and Yao Minority Town. It passes via hundred villages of Beihu District, Guiyang County, Suxian District, and Yongxing County, then merges into Bianjiang River of Yongxing County.

It is about 27kms long in Beihu section, which helps to feed up 8 villages as Sanhe, Zhaolv, Wushan, and etc. In recent years. Beihu District placed great attention on the improvement of this rural tourism landscape and the villages along the river were being improved greatly as well.
