It was reported that “Lighting up Beihu District”-self-driving trip was launched in Beihu District on September 23, 2016. Some leaders of the district attended the launching ceremony.

It was learned that it is one of the four main events of 2016 Hunan Chenzhou 1st Beautiful Rural Tourism and Culture Festival. More than 200 self-driving attendees started their trip with their fluorescent painting vehicles from Chenzhou Mechanical and Electrical Market. Then they would drive via Sanhe Village, Chenzhou Avenue, Xiaobu Village, Longnv Hot Spring, and some other scenic spots of Chenzhou.

Those fluorescent vehicles linked some scenic spots of Chenzhou City together and showed the colourful tourism landscape belt of Beihu District to the world, which greatly helped to popularize the fame of the district, as well as show a “New Chenzhou” and energetic Beihu image to the world.
