It was reported that the signing ceremony for the cooperation between Chenzhou Government and Bank of Changsha & opening ceremony of Bank of Changsha Chenzhou Branch was held in Chenzhou city on Oct. 18, 2013. As promised by Bank of Changsha that more than one billion yuan credit and loan would be released to Chenzhou city before the end of 2013. Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee attended the signing ceremony. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City signed the agreement with the bank on behalf of Chenzhou government.

Bank of Changsha was established in May, 1997, which was the first regional joint-stock commercial bank available in Hunan province. Bank of Changsha Chenzhou Branch is the first-level branch, which is the forth branch of Bank of Changsha in Hunan province. So far, 18 bank financial institutions have been available in Chenzhou city.

Qu Hai stated that Chenzhou city was on the process to establish a financial market system and forge the inter-provincial regional financial center, so it tried best to promote modern financial industry with some efficient ways. This kind of development not only help to lay a more solid foundation for Chenzhou city’s take-off, but also to bring more chances for modern financial industry. Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government would keep this kind of sound financial ecological condition to support further development of Bank of Changsha and other financial institutions settled down in Chenzhou city.

In the signing ceremony, approval for the opening of Bank of Changsha Chenzhou Branch and approval for the enrollment of Bank of Changsha Chenzhou Branch in financial service system were declared by the principals of relative departments. Some other issues were handled out at the meantime in this ceremony, such as 0.5 million yuan was donated to Chenzhou Education Foundation by Bank of Changsha, and some agreements were signed between Bank of Changsha and Chenzhou Government, Bank of Changsha Chenzhou Branch and Chenzhou Education Bureau, and Bank of Changsha Chenzhou Branch and Chenzhou Land and Resources Bureau. According to the agreements, 500 million yuan would be credited to Chenzhou municipal level education system in 8 years and 300 million yuan would be credited to Chenzhou land and resources system in 3 years by Bank of Changsha Chenzhou Branch separately.

Some leaders of Bank of Changsha and municipal leaders of Chenzhou city attended this ceremony.
