Qu Hai: Further Promotion for “One-hundred-day Campaign”

It was reported that an on-site conference for “one-hundred-day campaign” of key projects and scheduling conference for some projects was held in Chenzhou city recently. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City emphasized that much closer attention should be placed on the project progress, service, quality control, and supervision to further promote the development of “one-hundred-day campaign”.

 

According to the plan, Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center should be placed in operation. When reporters arrived there days later, a particularly eye-catching counted down board written “3 days left for deadline” was set there. It was introduced that in order to meet the time schedule, an intense working schedule was figured out and hundreds more workers were dispatched to handle the frontline work. Qu stated that though the time schedule was too tight for the project, the safety and quality control work should be paid much more attention to ensure its first-class quality.

 

A TV review conference was held later after Qu and his team finished the on-site investigation. A TV documentary concerned for the unannounced visit of the construction condition of 9 major projects was broadcasted on the conference. Besides the review on the projects, some problems listed by the owners of projects were discussed on the conference. Principals of relative counties and departments presented their comments on the problems and promised to settle them accordingly.

 

Once the “one-hundred-day campaign” launched, great progresses were achieved on the projects construction. According to preliminary statistics, 3.5 billion yuan investment has been fulfilled in October with an increase of 800 million yuan compared of September, up 29.63%. At the meantime, 70 problems hindered on the way of the promotion of projects construction have been settled well.

 

Following four requirements were listed by Qu Hai for further promotion of one-hundred-day campaign”: first, much closer attention should be paid on the project progress with enhanced scheduling; second, better service support should be carried out help the projects with more favorable services to solve some problems hindered on their way of further promotion; third, quality and safety control should be paid more attention to as well to ensure all the projects to be finished with best quality; forth, more enhanced supervision and assessment should be handled out accordingly to ensure all the work to be implemented well and ensure all projects to be finished on time.
