It was reported that in the afternoon of November 20, 2013, the 20 meters high old building of BBK located in Guoqing road of Chenzhou urban area was felt down, which indicated that the demolition project of BBK urban complex was in final stage.

It was introduced that BBK urban complex was one of the key urban complex projects of Chenzhou city, located in the downtown of Chenzhou urban area. It was estimated to be invested with 950 million yuan to cover the 0.2 million square meters construction areas. Once finished, supermarket, walking street, restaurants, cinemas, game centers, office buildings, and etc. would be facilitated there. According to the plan, the final building would be 100 meters high with 35 floors (including 3 floors of basement).

Zhang Hongwei- General Manager of this project said till now 360 million yuan has been invested on it from this February and 80% of the foundational works have been finished as well. In the first demolition stage, 180 families were relocated from the old building area. The second demolition stage which was launched in this June focused on the demolition of private buildings and stores.
