It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City inspected the safety production of Chenzhou city on October 25, 2013. Qu required that enhanced the measures should be carried out to ensure the safety production of Chenzhou city to be improved better.

Qu Hai led a team of principals of relative departments and some technicians to visit Heishanli coal mine and Baoyuan coal mine without previous notice. Qu stated that high attention should be placed on coal mine safety production to upgrade the safety training, knowledge and professional quality of the employees. At the meantime, stricter accountability system should be figured out to handle the implementation issue.

Afterward, Qu and his team inspected Beihu Market and Yiwu Small Commodity Market in Chenzhou urban central area, especially for their fire safety work. On their arrival of the markets, they found there were many cigarette butts on the floor where should be “no smoking”areas. Concerning for this issue, Qu asked the principals of Chenzhou Fire Brigade Branch and the markets to handle the rectification work immediately to eliminate such security risks.

A feedback meeting concerned for this inspection action was held in the afternoon of the same day. Qu pointed out at the meeting that it was still in a grim situation for Chenzhou’s safety production, so much more attention should be placed by relative departments to carry out the implementation of safety production to ensure the safety production of Chenzhou city to be improved better.

Qu emphasized that closer attention should be focused on key areas’safety production, such as coal mines, non-coal mines, traffic governance, some markets, etc. Enhanced cooperation should be carried out among relative departments to carry out some special actions on treatment safety production. Stricter accountability mechanism should be figured out to check relative cadres’work. More safety production inspection actions should be carried out to upgrade the safety production work and ensure the targets set for this year to be fulfilled well.
