More efforts should be placed on the commercial work to ensure all targets can be fulfilled on time

On May 6, 2013, Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City visited Chenzhou Commerce Bureau and required that more efforts should be placed on the commercial work to ensure all targets can be fulfilled on time.

According to the planning, $1 billion should be completed for actual use of foreign capital, $2 billion should be covered on processing trade, $3 billion should be fulfilled for foreign trade, 3.50 million square meters standard factory workshops should be finished, and a 15% increase should be reached for total retail sales of social consumer goods. 

It was shown from the data, in the first three months of 2013, $185 million contracted foreign investment was fulfilled with an increase of 19.9%, $268 million actual use of foreign capital was hit with an increase of 47.8%; $507 million was amounted for foreign trade, up 71.7%, ranking the third place of Hunan province; -.75million square meters factory workshops were finished with an renting rate of 95%; and total retail sales of social consumer goods was amounted to 13.38 billion yuan, up 11%.

Qu required that more efforts should be placed on the commercial work to ensure all targets can be fulfilled on time after listening to the reports delivered by the staffs. Upgrading investment attraction measures, better opening platforms construction, better infrastructure construction of industrial park, optimized investment condition, stronger logistic industry, more innovative working methods, etc. should be carried out fluently to reach all the targets well.
