Recently, reporters visited the relocation site for Dongjiang water reservoir in Zixing city.

When the reporters arrived at the relocation site of Wenchangge village, they were introduced by the villagers that because of more convenient transportation, more relocated people found jobs outside the village and enjoyed a better life condition than ever before.

The relocation project for Dongjiang water reservoir residents was launched from 2009 with over 400 million investment. 0.22 million people from 14 counties of Zixing city have been settled down in the new relocation sites till now and started their new life there.

In order to make sure all the relocated people can enjoy a better life condition, more than 54million yuan were placed by Zixing government to invest some projects with local relocation site features. Some special agriculture, efficient agriculture and ecological agriculture industries were formed there. Besides those, more technological supports were provided by the government to enhance the relocated people’s skills to handle their businesses.

Now, the relocated people from Dongjiang water reservoir enjoyed their well-off life.
