In recent years, Chenzhou city has fighting for establishing an ecological livable city by forging city brand as “forest city & leisure city” and carrying out the work for establishment of a national garden city. All the three indexes were beyond the standards of a national garden city. Especially for the satisfactory rate of city greening work, Chenzhou gained a high mark as 84.51%.

On the feedback conference, experts highly affirmed Chenzhou government’s work on the construction of establishment of a national garden city, especially for the construction of Beihu Lake. The experts said that Beihu lake is well integrated with the city by its location, accessory infrastructure, greening work, etc.. Its main function is maximized to improve people’s living conditions. Meantime, the experts presented some suggestions to the inspection and submission work of Chenzhou’s establishment of a national garden city.
