The oldest one is about 210-year-old 

It was reported that a large Nanmu cluster was discovered on the banks of Dongjiang river, Wangjia village of Zixing Economic Development Zone. It was the largest one of Nanmu cluster ever discovered in Zixing city. All the trees grow well, especially for the oldest 210-year-old one is more than 30 meters high and 3 meters long of its diameter.

There are different species of Nanmu as Sweet Nan, Gold Nan, Water Nan, etc. It is megaphanerophyte. It can grow to be more than 30 meters high when it is mature. Because of its solid and rare feature, it was used to be as the material of ships and palaces. Now it is enrolled into the list of national key protected wild plants. It belongs to national secondary protection plant.
Besides the Nanmu trees, two lychee trees with over 150 years which belong to Hunan provincial protection plant were discovered in the cluster as well. Now, all the ancient trees are under the protection of Zixing government by hanging with specified marks.
