It was learned from the working conference for overall development of urban & rural areas, development of modern agriculture and promotion of ecological civilization construction that the six round for one hundred thousand mu afforestation project- 2014 greening project was launched in Yizhang county. Ou’yang Feng- Secretary of Yizhang County Party Committee, Wang Jianqiu- Deputy Secretary of Yizhang County Party Committee and some other county leaders took active action to donate money to support this project. Some enterprises also joined in the donation action to contribute their strength on the promotion of this greening project.

This one hundred thousand mu afforestation project was launched from 2008 after the ice disaster. It was purposely to recover the ecology and build beautiful ecological Yizhang county by handling this kind of project. Followed with the idea to consolidate earlier greening achievements, forge fine project and carry comprehensive greening work, the six round for one hundred thousand mu afforestation project- 2014 greening project was planned to be invested with 600 million yuan, 26 million yuan would be donated and collected for “greening Yizhang, beautiful homeland” activity. Specified greening targets for 2014 were figured out on the conference. In order to meet the targets well, a detailed working plan especially for the key work was worked out as well on the basis of its practical condition.

Till now, 12000 mu barren mountain and over 8000 mu land have been cleaned out and prepared for further work. 88000 square meters new greening areas with over 6000 newly planted trees are available in yizhang urban area. Some other greening projects are under the planning schedule.
