Lakes are like the eyes of a city.

It was heard that “ten lakes”project was listed in the upgrading project of Chenzhou city in earlier day. In order to make all Chenzhou citizens popularize with the new images of the lakes, reporters took some photographs of them as shown in above.

The ten lakes refer to Jintian lake in Jintian village along Donghe river, Baishui lake in Baishui section of Xihe river, Liuxian lake in Liuxianling park, Yuanquan lake in Huashuxia section, Wangxian lake in Wangxianling park, Suxian lake in Shiliuwan park, Tongkeng lake in Tongkenhu section, Luoxian lake in Luoxianling section, Beihu lake in Beihu park and Ailian lake in Ailianhu park. The ten lakes are distributed in the urban area of Chenzhou city, which greatly helped to upgrade the living condition.

Mr. Deng was surprised to find this newly built Wangxian lake near his house when he came back home outside one year later. He enjoyed the fresh air there well.
It was learned that Wangxian lake was near Chenzhou avenue and entrance of Jinggangao expressway. Its total area is about 252mu, 142mu of which is water area. Total 32 million yuan budget investment would be placed on five special zones construction: image zone in the entrance, ecological landscape zone, photograph zone, leisure zone, and Wangxian culture zone.

As introduced by Mr. Deng, it was used to be a wasteland one year ago before his leaving. It was really amazing to find such rapid change in this area.
Actually, many Chenzhou citizens were with the similar feeling as Mr. Deng.

Suxian lake becomes Mr. Hu’s favorite daily leisure destination. He would walk around Suxian lake every day to enjoy the natural and ecological life there.
It was introduced by one of the staffs of Suxian lake management center that some featured facilities have been done around Suxian lake with sound greening and decoration. Suxian lake covers with 157mu area, which looks like a sickle moon.

Ailian lake is about 10 minutes walk from Suxian lake. Besides its unique small scenes as pavilion and bridge, people can enjoy ancient literature art there as well.

Beihu lake was the one with the longest history among other 10 lakes, which was famous as “mother lake of Chenzhou city”. It was learned from the principal of Beihu park that the 100million yuan investment second phase of upgrading project for Beihu park would be fulfilled soon, so people can enjoy more sceneries there in near future. The water area of Beihu lake was expanded to 245mu which covers about 50% of the total area of the park. The water quality of the lake was upgraded as well.
