It was learned that the third session of forth Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress was held in Chenzhou city on January 8, 2014. Both Chenzhou Municipal Intermediate People’s Court and Chenzhou Municipal People’s Procuratorate presented on their working reports that they would pay more attention on deepening revolution and economic & social development to provide better service for Chenzhou city’s development.

In 2013, all the courts of Chenzhou city played good role in judicial function to form a sound implementation format. 31,790 cases were registered in the courts in 2013, 28084 of which have been settled. 7137 cases were for execution ones, 6013 of which have been completed with a rate of 84.2%. Chenzhou Municipal Intermediate People’s Court ranked the first place on the satisfaction assessment of Hunan province. Procuratorates of Chenzhou city fought against for the criminal offences forcefully by working together with relative departments. 2657 criminal suspects were arrested and 3631 people were issued to prosecute.

In 2014, the courts of Chenzhou city would follow the new demands of judicial reform to promote the judicial publicity and upgrade the judicial credit; would focus on handling cases to maintain the development condition; would forcefully fight for the serious criminal offences to provide harmonious environment for the society; would try best to protect people’s right and upgrade judicial publicity; and would promote the reform and innovation to keep the fairness and justice of society.

Procuratorates of Chenzhou city would follow the requirements of comprehensively deepening revolution to strengthen the effectiveness of prosecution services; would pay more attention on fighting against the economic crimes to protect market bodies legal rights; and would try more efforts on prevention of crimes and optimization of the economic development condition to promote the anti-corruption.
