It was reported that the organization committee of the first South Hunan Trade Fair for International Undertaking Industrial Transfer (short for “South Hunan Trade Fair”) held a press conference in Changsha city on October 18, 2013. It was announced that the first “South Hunan Trade Fair” would be held from November 28 to 29, 2013 in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

The first “South Hunan Trade Fair” was approved by Hunan provincial government, sponsored by Hunan Provincial Commerce Ministry, Hunan Reform and Development Committee, Chenzhou Government, Hengyang Government and Yongzhou Government, undertaken by Hunan Provincial Commerce Ministry and Chenzhou Government, co-sponsored by Hunan Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office, Hunan Provincial SASAC, Hunan Provincial Finance Office Hunan Provincial Federation of Industry, Hunan Provincial CCPIT, Hunan Provincial Overseas Chinese Federation, Hunan Provincial Economic Coordination Office, and supported by China Council for Promotion of Undertaking Industrial Transfer Investment.

The theme for this first trade fair is “greening undertaking and concentrated development”. Followed with four strategic positioning as “establishing a new platform for undertaking industrial transfer in central of China, a leading area for cross-regional cooperation, and a nesting zone for processing trade and a testing zone for transformation development” , some big enterprises, key projects and major products would be selected to attend the fair and the undertaking industrial transfer negotiation would be highlighted in the fair as well.

The general solution for the first “South Hunan Trade Fair” was figured out by Hunan Provincial Commerce Department and Hunan Provincial Reform and Development Committee. Chenzhou Government was in charge of the implementation details of this solution. Seven key activities as exhibition of investment trade, leaders’ visit, opening ceremony, investment condition introduction & key project promotion conference and signing conference for national demonstration area of South Hunan undertaking industrial transfer, summit for the central China’s undertaking industrial transfer investment, investment conference for the key projects of undertaking industrial transfer and investment conference for this first trade fair would be handled out in the fair. About 1500 people as some principals of relative state and Hunan provincial departments, principals of relative Hunan province municipal level departments, some honored merchants worldwide, entrepreneurs of Hunan famous enterprises, and reporters from Hunan provincial and other media groups would attend this fair.

600 businessmen and 400 exhibitors would be invited to attend this first “South Hunan Trade Fair”. It was reported that the scale for the exhibition venue would be about 30,000 square meters, covering 14 special stands and 400 standard stands.

A high scale organizing committee consulted by Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and directed by Qu Hai-Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City was formed to handle the preparatory work. Chenzhou city was trying its best to provide best service for this fair. Zhang Xihui- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City answered the questions listed by journalists on the press conference.
