It was reported that preparation for national acceptance of the establishment of national greening model city & mobilization TV and telephone conference for “urban green shade action”(second phase) and urban “greening battle”(sixth phase). It was required that previous greening construction achievements should be consolidated and the greening work should be further upgraded to fulfill the targets set for “new three establishments”. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the conference and delivered an important speech there.

It was learned that in the state experts group would check Chenzhou city’s establishment work of national greening model city on site in the late September. The work for“urban green shade action”(second phase) and urban “greening battle”(sixth phase) would be last from this August to next August. The three-year urban vertical greening work would be implemented from this August to April, 2017.

The relative work was allocated on the conference and relative implementation solutions were released as well.

It was stated on the conference that more attention should be placed on urban-rural greening work. It was the requirement of situation to enhance the urban-rural greening construction. From the 18th Party’s National Conference, the central government and the State Council listed series important instructions on the construction of ecological civilization and all should be well implemented. It was the requirement of development to enhance the urban-rural greening construction. Ecological greening is the best feature and advantage of Chenzhou city, so Chenzhou city should well play the advantages to promote the urban-rural greening construction and help to lay solid foundation to Chenzhou city’s scientific development, transformation development, and sustainable development. It was people’s demand to enhance the urban-rural greening construction, so all relative departments should follow people’s demands and requirements to well handle the urban-rural greening work.

Qu Hai emphasized that the preparation work for acceptance should be well handled. All department should treat the acceptance work as one of the most important work under current situation and should mobilize all staffs to get down to the preparation work; more attention should be placed on the details to arrange the inspection routes, propaganda, preparation of materials, reception, and other work; specified responsibility mechanism should be figured out to allocate the work to relative staff; and the supervision should be enhanced to deliver the pressure to all departments.

Qu Hai emphasized the “urban green shade action”and urban “greening battle”should be fully promoted. The high level planning design should be handled out, especially on the perfection of the planning of urban greening land system and green line by highlighting guidance and control of planning; more efforts should be tried on forging high level greening boutiques and promoting the construction of boutique garden projects; the features of Chenzhou city’s landscapes should be well utilized to handle the greening of urban “ten mountains”and forge the characteristic Chenzhou mountainous parks; more attention should be placed on the construction of urban river landscape to forge “river-lake complementation” water landscape; the construction of“green shade for urban slow-traffic system” should be promoted; the reconstruction and upgrading of parks and green lands should be accelerated by highlighting the features of “one park one taste, one street one scenery”; and the maintenance and protection of parks should be enhanced to reach the comprehensive constriction and management of parks and gardens and to upgrade the informationlized level of management as well.

Gong Fengxiang- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Minister of Chenzhou Organization Department and Minister of Chenzhou United Front Work Department hosted the conference. Some municipal leaders of Chenzhou city attended the conference.
