Currently, Chenzhou city’s establishment of national civilized city was being proceeded on regulation stage and the upgrading and reconstruction work for streets of Chenzhou urban area was being promoted rapidly. After Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee checked the establishment work handled out by Chenzhou urban area by surprise on August 19, 2014, Zhou Yingchun- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Minister of Chenzhou Propaganda Department followed the same route of Xiang to handle an on-site scheduling of the establishment work on September 19, 2014.

Zhou Yingchun visited Xiezuo Market, Jinlong Market, Guoqing south road, Nanling villa, and some other places. She highly affirmed the achievements reached by relative units and stated that all relative departments have taken active actions to improve the city management capacity and upgrade the city image.

Zhou emphasized that based on the high and strict requirements of “establishment of national civilized city”, there are still some problems hindered on the way of the establishment work, such as the itinerant vendors, irregular parking, and etc., especially in Guoqing north road, Guoqing south road, Luojiajing market, west street, and etc. The advisers of civilized traffic haven’t been well dispatched to some roads.

Zhou stated that Chenzhou city should learn the advanced experience from Changsha city to forge a “new normal” for the establishment of national civilized city and accelerate the establishment speed. The strictest management, enforcement and fine should be handled out accordingly. Some departments as city management, traffic police, commerce, and etc. should enhance the supervision and enforcement. The establishment office should also carry out stricter supervision to solve the problems hindered on the way. All the tasks concerned for reconstruction should be fulfilled in the end of this month with good quality.
