“Rubbish is less and the environment is clear.”All the roadside stall businesses were banned, the concrete road surface was changed to asphalt pavement, and the road was wider than before, all of which enable people to enjoy nice journey there. “My parents live in Hengyang city. They were impressed with the rapid changes of the industrial park for the environment became better and better every time when they visited there. I’m proud of being in this industrial park.” Along with carrying the work of establishment of national civilized city, South Hunan International Logistics Park changes every day that the road becomes wider, road pavement becomes smoother, more green trees are there, and etc.

First change: the rubbish is less and the road is clearer

“I used to work over 7 hours to finish the cleaning work there for there are too much dust there. But now, I can finish it in 2 hours.” said Ms. Wang who is one of the cleaners of Xianquan road. As introduced by her that the cleaning work is much easier for her compared with earlier days, because the watering carts purling water times per day, the cadres of the industrial park handle the sanitary inspection every week, people become more conscientious to throw the rubbish, and etc.

“From this year, the sanitary inspection is being carried out every week and the rectification measures and deadline are specified as well.” introduced by Zhou Hao- one of the specialized cadre for the establishment work of the park. 20 cleaners were hired to handle the daily cleaning work in the park to ensure all the rubbishes can be cleaned and removed from the park every day. A watering cart is also being operated in the park to purling water 3-4 times per day, which helps to ensure no visual rubbish in the park.

Second change: street lamp is brighter and road is wider

“Guoqing south road’s street lamps were not so bright in earlier days, Xianquan road was without street lamp, and no public security station and security patrol was available there, so I was used to be afraid to come back home alone before.” said Li Yanqing- one of the workers of Hunan Ziyu Company. But now thanks to the brighter street lamps and wider road, she can enjoy her trip.

In the cross of Guoqing south road where leads to South Hunan International Logistics Park, a cultural stone carved with the characters of “湘南国际物流园” (South Hunan International Logistics Park) was set there. The green plants around the stone make it look beautiful. The road sides were also planted with different green trees.

As introduced by Zhou Hao, it was used to be with poor environment condition there that few greening, no street lamp, poor road condition, and etc. In order to provide a sound condition for local enterprises and citizens, a reconstruction and upgrading project for Guoqing south road and Xianquan road was carried out by the industrial park from the end of last November that the concrete road was changed to asphalt pavement, all street lamps were upgraded, greening areas were increased, the traffic marks and lanes were regulated, and three public bus stops were facilitated there. “New image” of Guoqing south road and Xianquan road became the window of “Chenzhou city’s ecological civilization construction and establishment of national civilized city”. All the citizens live in the industrial park can enjoy green and leisure city image there.

Third change: no ashtray there that the office environment is more comfortable

“Behave civilized” on stepping into South Hunan International Logistics Park, the reporters noticed this LED sign. Some other public service advertisements are being posted in the lobbies, stairs, and etc. as well.

In order to ban the smoking, all the ashtrays which were used to be facilitated in each office were stored away and the ads marked“no smoking” were posted there. A smoking room was set there. The civilized and harmonious behaviors make all people feel comfortable.

At the meantime, the clothes and behaviors for the property management staffs were regulated. Specified cleaning solutions were figured out to ensure no blind angles for the offices. The sanitary patrol work was being carried out by the park to provide clean, comfortable, tidy and livable environment for the enterprise settled down in the park. Security patrol teams were set up to handle 24hours security patrol, which helped to grant people with safe condition.

Furthermore, some volunteers were recruited by the park to handle the guidance and propaganda work for the civilized behaviors.

Now, South Hunan International Logistics Park is highly organized with convenient transportation condition and beautiful scenery, which greatly helped to promote Chenzhou city’s establishment of national civilized city.
