It was reported that from August 28- August 31, 2014, more than 200 cultural volunteers from Chenzhou Media Group stationed in 170 internet bars of Chenzhou urban area to assist the overall supervision on 10 aspects as reception of nonages, real-name registration, no smoking, safety of fire fighting access, and etc.

From this year, Chenzhou Media Group followed the concept to handle overall treatment and regulation for the internet service places and handle guidance of chain’s management for the internet service places together. On August 26, 2014, an owners meeting for the internet bars was held in Chenzhou city. Long Qiyang- Secretary of Party Group and Director of Chenzhou Media Group called all owners to operate their businesses by law, contribute their efforts on setting up a sound image for the internet industry, and provide healthy environment for the teenagers. At the meantime, Long stated that all owners should pay more attention to take active actions on joining the establishment of national civilized city and national sanitary city. He emphasized that some special measures would be carried out in the special period, especially for the irregular behaviors. It was purposely to upgrade the owners’ quality of civilization and upgrade the service level of the internet bars by joining in the establishment of national civilized city.

It was introduced that this action was an extension for the special treatment action handled out for internet bar industry and was one of the concentrated treatment actions with the largest scale and best effect compared with earlier actions. It was purposely to upgrade the supervision and service level of internet bar industry and provide best cultural and entertainment environment for Chenzhou city’s establishment of national civilized city.

From August 28, 2014, Long Qiyang led the patrol team to handle the investigation for the internet bars in person. All the volunteers for this action were wearing the sleeve emblem of “civilization persuasion” (“文明劝导员”) and stationed in the internet bars from 9:30a.m. to 22:00 every day. According to the incomplete statistics, more than 30 nonages were persuaded not to enter into the internet bars, over 600 people were persuaded not to smoke in the internet bars, over 80 noisy cases were stopped there, and 4 internet bars which did not meet the standards of fire fighting access were required to handle the treatment on site.

Thanks to the staffs of cultural market and the 200 volunteers hard work, the order of Chenzhou city’s internet bar was further regulated and helped to upgrade the civilized service level of cultural and entertainment industry as well.
