To discover the beauty of Chenzhou city, you should enjoy it slowly when visit there. As the host of 2014 Hunan Tourism Industry Expo, we are familiar with the slogan “city in the forest, leisure city”. On the site of 2014 Hunan Tourism Industry Expo, Zhou Yingchun- Minister of Propaganda Department of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee in 2014 Hunan Tourism Industry Expo shared her idea on Chenzhou city’s strategy on establishment of ecological and leisure tourism, especially the establishment of “five one”.

 

“It does not only promote the development of Chenzhou city’s tourism industry, build the platform for tourism industry and enhance the regional cooperation, but also help to popularize the brand of ‘city in the forest, leisure city’” Zhou Yingchun highly expressed the significance of the expo for Chenzhou city and emphasized that the city was fighting for holding the expo to be special, influential and effective.

 

Chenzhou city is the south gate of Hunan province where was adjacent to the Pearl River Delta. Its special, beautiful, elegant and precipitous ecological resources grant it to be with special cultural and natural sceneries. Over 40% geothermal resources of Hunan province were explored in the 11 counties and cities of Chenzhou city, which helped to make the city to be famous as “hot spring city of China”.

 

Superexcellent location advantage, original ecological resources, and rich special resources are highly supportive for Chenzhou city’s strategy of establishment of ecological and leisure tourism.

 

Zhou said in order to forge the strategy of ecological and leisure tourism, accelerate rural tourism and promote cultural tourism, Chenzhou city was working on establishing the platform of tourism barrier and figure out establishment targets of “five one” which referred to “establish one 4A or above level landscape, one 4 star level hotel, one tourism complex, one demonstration villa, and one 3 star level travel agency in every county and district of Chenzhou city”.

 

Focusing on the establishment targets, Chenzhou fought hard on establishment of national civilized city, national garden city, national sanitary city and national management city of transportation culture, which helped to grant the city with sound ecological, sanitary, social and comprehensive condition. Assisted with the activities, the grand meetings as tourism industry expo, international ecological and cultural tourism festival, and etc., Chenzhou city’s tourism was upgraded and its tourism culture brand was expanded as well.

 

“Chenzhou would pay more attention on the creation of tourism culture product, development of tourism product, expansion of fields, promotion of old people’s tourism, expansion of tourism consumption, and etc. to transfer the tourism resources advantages to industrial economy advantages” said Zhou Yingchun.
