On April 15th, 2016, the press conference for 9th China Chenzhou Yizhang Mount Mang Azalea Festival & final of 1st beauty contest of "most beautiful star of Chenzhou" was held in Chenzhou city. As learned from the conference, the festival will be opened on this April 26, 2016.

It was introduced by the sponsor that this festival would be with bigger scale, stronger propaganda, and more innovative activities, so that visitors can enjoy a more relax journey there. Five events as the final for first Chenzhou beauty contest, music concert, bony painting, family trip, and photography show will be held during the festival. The festival will be last for May 31,2016.

Compared with last times of the festival, the first Chenzhou beauty contest is one of the key highlights for this festival. It was introduced that it was purposely to spread more positive powers to the society by combining the two brands- popular azalea festival and beauty contest.
