“Attractive CMGS, Global Sharing”- press conference of large scale interview activity for domestic and foreign media of Chenzhou CMGS was held in Chenzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center on May 4, 2016. 84 journalists from 55 domestic and foreign media and some famous internet writers as Hua Qianfang, Zhang Liping, and etc. attended the conference. Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee made a toast on the conference. Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City introduced relative condition there.

As stated by Yi Pengfei, last CMGS which was held in Chenzhou city for the first time in last May amazed the whole industry for its large scale and splendor occasion, even can be capable with America Tucson Show and Germany Munich Show. CMGS was fixed in Chenzhou city permanently from this time, so the city would try all best to handle each show successfully.

Yi also gave brief introduction of Chenzhou city there. As introduced by Yi, Chenzhou city is with rich cultural and natural resources and it is an attractive place with advantageous conditions on opening up and development.

Yi said the fixation of CMGS indicated that “the show which is held in the shaft head” would never be closed. Chenzhou city is confident and capable to hold CMGS successfully every year. The show will be improved as the key working task and industrial development task with the highest quality of Chenzhou city. All the work concerned for the show will be handled out well with the efforts of all departments. It aims to improve the show to be an international level mineral and gem show in 3-5 years. At the meantime, the show will be improved to be with more Chenzhou features, highlighting the marketization of performance, e-commerce of resource trading, internationalization of industrial cooperation, and real effect of the show’s results. It will present the best image of Chenzhou city during the show by improving its city environment, optimizing its development condition, and upgrading citizens’ quality.

Yi said currently, the preliminary work for the show was being promoted fluently by relative departments to greet the friends and merchants worldwide. Chenzhou city would try best to hold the show successful and impress all visitors with the charm of “mineral crystal city”. It would try to create more chances and spaces for further development of mineral and gem industry. Yi expressed his hope that all the media can play more active actions to propagandize Chenzhou city and the 4th CMGS.

Qu Hai introduced the basic situation, highlights, and preliminary work of the show to the attendees. As introduced by Qu, some more characteristic activities as summit forum, science popularization of mineral industry, appraisement of mineral gem, and etc. would be held on the show. More attention would be placed on the quality of the exhibits on the spirit of “real and boutique products”, so series world’s top level mineral boutiques and private collections would be displayed on the show while the fake items would be blocked from the show. The exchange would be more professional for the International Mineral Gem Exchange Platform would be placed to operation in this show. Improvement of the industry would be followed the way of cluster development that Chenzhou city would sign strategic framework agreement with Amer Group on the show to improve the cluster development of mineral and gem industry. The show would be improved to be more international for over 40% of the exhibitors are from the world, 21 political VIPs were invited to attend the show, and Chenzhou would establish sister cities relationship with Tucson of the USA and Kimberley of South Africa.

Qu said currently all the preliminary work of the show was being improved smoothly. Special working solutions have been figured out. Some of the preparation work has been done, while reception, security, and some other work were being under arrangement. Propaganda work was being carried out well with sound effects. The stands have been booked out. More exhibitors will attend the show. Some of the international exhibits were delivered to Chenzhou city gradually.

Zhang Xihui- Member of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee and Minister of Chenzhou Propaganda Department hosted the conference. Officials of Chenzhou Public Security Bureau, Chenzhou Lands and Resources Bureau, and etc. presented relative reports there.
