Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee accepted the interview with the domestic and foreign media which attended “Attractive CMGS, Global Sharing”- press conference of large scale interview activity for domestic and foreign media of Chenzhou CMGS on May 4, 2016.

Yi said CMGS is a sound platform for showing Chenzhou city’s charm to the world. Favored by the nature, Chenzhou city is full of treasures: green ecological resources over ground and abundant mineral resources underground. All those precious treasures are waiting for some international exhibition platforms as CMGS to “find their happy matches”, so that transfer the advantages of resources into the thrust of regional, economic, and industrial development of Chenzhou city and realize effective and sustainable industrialization on the basis of protection of resources.

Yi Pengfei said CMGS is an important carrier for attracting more people to join in the promotion of Chenzhou city’s further development. Chenzhou city’s city image would be upgraded greatly with the successful CMGS, then some relative industries as mineral gem industry, cultural tourism, fitness, modern logistics, and etc. would be improved for promoting Chenzhou city’s construction of Hunan provincial pilot and demonstration of popular tourism, as well as economic transformation and industrial structural optimization

Yi stated that Chenzhou city would further improve the exhibition economy represented by CMGS, establish the development mode of “guiding by government, sponsoring by association, supporting by entities, operating by market”, promote the substantiation and industrialization of exhibitions on the basis of market operation, and forge Chenzhou city to be an influential low-lying land of mineral and mining right exchange. Currently, Chenzhou city is working with Amer Group which is one of the world’s top 500 on the construction of Hunan (Chenzhou) International Mineral Exchange Center. Deepening cooperation would be carried out between the two parties in future and Amer Group would take charge of leading the construction, development, and investment of Chenzhou Mineral Gem Industrial Park. According to the preliminary statistics, 20 leading mineral gem enterprises would settle down in the park in this show. It was expected that 100 enterprises would settle down there till 2017.

Yi said it is significant for improving Chenzhou city’s economic and social development by handling the CMGS successfully, so the city would try their best to carry out relative work. It aimed to expand the opening up, upgrade its influence, attract more investors, and promote further development of Chenzhou city even Hunan province.
